Happy New Year! 
2020 is The Year of Creative Miracles! 

In the fall of 2019, I heard the Lord say, “I’m going to turn something ordinary into extraordinary”.

He led me to reread The Gospel of John Chapter 2 where Jesus performed his first miracle. Jesus, Mary, and his disciples were all invited to a wedding and the wine ran out. Mary, Jesus’ mom, notified him of this predicament. Jesus was nonchalant at first but Mary said something significant to his disciples in front of Jesus. She told them, “Whatever He says to you, do it”. 

Suddenly, Jesus tells his disciples to fill six 30 gallon water pots full of water. They obeyed. 

Next, Jesus tells one of his disciples to take a cup of water to the wedding coordinator. This is risky. The coordinator is expecting wine, not water. But the disciple obeys. 

The wedding coordinator takes a drink and miraculously the water becomes wine. The disciple knew he gave him water. But the wedding coordinator tasted wine. And the best wine at that. 

Water in and of itself will never turn into wine. Wine is not that natural progression of water. So in essence, God performed a creative miracle right before the disciples eyes. 

God turned something ordinary into extraordinary. 

Can I go deeper? 

Just like the water pots, you are also made of clay and water. All humans are. Are we only talking about water pots or are we talking about your life? 

If you will completely obey whatever He says to you, just like the water in the water pots, God will turn your ordinary life into something extraordinary in 2020! 

2020 is The Year of Creative Miracles! 

A creative miracle is an unexplainable event that causes something to come into existence that would not naturally evolve on its own.
