Prayer For Coronavirus

Here is a prayer that we have been praying. I want you to pray this prayer with us and stand in agreement against this wicked virus. 

"Father, in Jesus name, we give thanks for the United States of America. We pray for the men and women who are in positions of authority. We pray and intercede for the president, the representatives, the senators, the CDC, the medical profession, the doctors and the nurses, as well as the governors and mayors, and for all those who are in authority over us in any way. We pray that the Spirit of the Lord rests upon them.

We ask that skillful and godly wisdom will enter into the heart of our president and our governor. Surround them with godly counsel. Give them attentive ears to hear. Supply them with the wisdom and discernment necessary to make tough critical decisions that will favorably impact the future of this great nation. We declare that knowledge is pleasant to them and discretion watches over them.

We pray for those who are researching and responding to the pandemic. We ask that You pour out Your wisdom, knowledge and understanding in them and through them. Give them dreams and visions of vaccines, remedies and solutions.

We pray for all hospital and nursing home staff, doctors, nurses, lab technicians, first responders, military personnel, and everyone who is at risk to exposure as they serve and care for those who are or may have been infected. Please protect them and give them and their families peace as they serve. Help them to keep patients calm as they work and walk in faith in You.

We pray for those who have suffered loss of family and friends from this virus. Please comfort them.

We pray for those who are currently sick and we declare healing over them.

We pray for those who are filled with fear and anxiety in the uncertainty of what to do, or in isolation of quarantine. Thank You for being our God who never leaves us nor forsakes us.

We pray for those who are not able to go to work and earn a paycheck.  We ask that You provide for their needs. Please connect them with services who are providing food and other resources at this time.

Father we ask that you would incline our ears to truth and give us steadfast hearts as our confidence is in You. Give us discernment to divide rumors from reality, help us to make wise decisions and listen to good information."

Now Coronavirus, we’re talking to you! 

"We speak to the root issue of this virus. We rebuke you and command you to die in Jesus Name. We curse you. Shrivel up and disappear now in the mighty name of Jesus. Cease and desist to cause harm in humanity. Stop NOW in Jesus Name!"
