My Response To COVID-19
According to Dr. Anthony Fauci, coronavirus could get worse over the winter and remain a major threat in 2021.
As we approach winter and learn that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases continue to rise in our nation, let me remind you that no sickness is a match for the mighty name of Jesus or the authority of His Holy Word! Keep His Word on your mind and on your lips because people have a tendency to hear more Word than they actually do!
I am thankful for the peace of God that transcends all understanding, and I pray that Jesus’ personal peace covers you and your families as we walk through this season together.
Stacy and I are personally not afraid of the COVID-19 outbreak or what the world calls “the flu season”. We have God’s promises that He will protect us, and that's good enough for us. Our job is to believe that God will do His job!
However, we do understand that there is a lot of apprehension and concern around the spread of these viruses.
I want to share with you how Stacy and I see these viruses. There are several verses and promises of God that we are standing on.
Psalm 91:7
A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.
Psalms 91:2
I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”
Psalms 91:10
No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling
We firmly believe these viruses cannot come in or near our home.
But what if it does?
We believe in the healing nature and power of our Mighty God and of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Exodus 15:26
... for I am the Lord that healeth thee.
Psalm 107:20
He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them...
1 Peter 2:24
...by His stripes you were healed.
But what if you don’t get healed and you die?
We believe eternal life continues after departure from this earth.
Psalms 116:15
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.
II Corinthians 5:8
“We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.”
Philippians 1:21
For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
In scripture, Job said, “The thing I feared the most happened to me (Job 3:25).” Don’t let the fear of COVID-19, the flu, or death paralyze you. In fact, studies show that most people are victorious against these viruses. Make sure that you commit to always be, in the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing, with the right people.
Praying for you!
